Denise:

Attached is a request for information concerning the acquisition of the Emmelhainz property. Your prompt attention is appreciated.

Also attached is my request for information concerning the January 2006 survey, which I do not believe has been adequately answered.

Regards,
Paul Lambert

Tim Hamilton has a copy of the request for information you've requested on the purchase of the Emmelhainz property. You can contact Karen Wright at SSF to view that information. >

Regarding information about the survey, you can contact Dave Lundregan since it was a campaign document.

There is no written documentation regarding the selection of the campaign chairs. Selection of the actual campaign committee is a co-chair decision.

Denise:

Thanks for making the Emmelhainz information available. I'll contact Karen today.

As for the survey, what I have asked for is not a copy of the full survey, only a copy of such information from the survey that was revealed to the School Board or to any employee of Hilliard City Schools. I completely understand and respect that the survey was paid for with private money, and remains the property of the campaign committee. However, any information from the survey that was communicated to the School Board or to an employee of the District became public information, in my opinion.

It seems like your position must be one of the following three:

1. There was absolutely no information gathered by this survey which was communicated to any member of the School Board or to any employee of the District;

2. There was indeed some information gathered by this survey which was communicated to one or more members of the School Board or to one or more employees of the District, but you don't believe that such communication causes the information to become public domain;

3. There was indeed some information gathered by this survey which was communicated to one or more members of the School Board or to one or more employees of the District, and that upon further consideration you now believe such information does belong in the public domain, and copies will be made available to me per my request.

Please help me understand which of these is the position of the School Board on this matter.

Sincerely,
Paul Lambert
